NYPD Blue: Diane wakes up the following morning in Jimmy's apartment not remembering anything that happened that night. She goes into the squad, where everyone comments on her appearance. She catches a case where a man with muscular dystrophy was killed in a very tight knit community. Witnesses are very reluctant to come forward. Meanwhile, Bobby and Andy work on a case that may have been "masterminded" by a married couple whom Fancy wrestles with Bass and knowledge of the fact that Bobby is going to be promoted to detective first grade and Andy is not. Diane confronts Jimmy with her gun (which she fires) about what had happened last night. He claims nothing.
