Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987): It was a dark and rainy night. The Turtles, wearing their trench coats and fedoras investigate a reign of mob terror. Donatello, in his worst "Sam Spade" impersonation, narrates this pulp/film noir story of banks all over the city being "taken down by the mob." But, as Donatello tells the viewer, the mob is using sophisticated weaponry -- the kind that could be only supplied by Shredder. And what mobster would be "gutsy" enough to deal with Shredder?
